AminocareŽ after-sun lotion is a genuine soothing and repairing formula, a great sun moisturizer that slows the aging process and rejuvinate skin cells. Its main ingredients include two aminoacid derivatives, which are helpful to the aging procress and a rare exotic oil, which helps make the skin silky smooth. This product will have your skil feeling refreshed and restored.
People are mostly focused on sun-block however, there is no perfect protection. After any sun exposure the skin is irritated and damaged. This product may help to repair damages caused by UV radiation. There are not many such products on the market. Moreover, our product is one of the only products on the market which helps to repair damaged DNA (Celligent). One ingredient is based on the lamellar system (Prolipid 141), which provides unique benefits, which no other system can deliver (outstanding moisturization, skin barrier strengthening, uniform delivery of active ingredients). Additionally, amino acids derived from silk fibers can penetrate into upper levels of the skin, drawing moisture into these areas, improving skin conditions.

1) Are there any additives including parabens, heavy preservatives, animal products, animal byproducts, or artificial colors/dyes?
No.
2) What is Celligent which is inside the After-Sun Lotion?
Celligent contains three active agents:
a. UV Absorber (ethyl ferulate)
b. Antioxidant (carnosolic acid extracted from Rosemary)
c. Nucleotide precursor to help DNA repair (Uridine Monophosphate)
3) After reading the information on Celligent– Is this considered a UV protector?
Celligent has three main functions: UV absorber (protector), antioxidant and helps to repair DNA. It also decreases UV mediated redness.
4) What is Prolipid 141 which is inside After-Sun Lotion?
Prolipid 141is a lamellar system which provides outstandingmoisturization, skin barrier strengthening, uniform delivery of actives, and product structuring.
5) Can I use this for sun block?
No. The lotion contains UV absorber for daily protection not for extended sun exposure. It is intended to use after sun exposure.
6) When should this be applied?
After sun exposure.
7) What is the shelf life?
12-18 months approximately. There are two emulsifiers used in the formula to increase the stability of the lotion.
8) What is the size?
150 ml (5.07 ounces)
9) How long should one expect the container to last?
It is hard to predict, depends on the user.
10)Is there a possibility of allergic reactions? High/Moderate/Low risk?
We expect the allergic reaction will be at a very low risk. Similar to our Aminocare Cream and Lotion products.
11) Can this be used with other products without a reaction or without altering the efficacy of this product? If so, which goes on first?
Yes. This product should be applied first.
12)Can this be used with make-up for women? If so, which goes on first?
Yes. This product should be applied on the bare skin to decrease any irritation caused by sun exposure.
13)Can this be used with the Aminocare Cream/Lotion? If so, which goes on first?
Yes. Either way.
14)Can children use this since they are in the sun a lot and will suffer from sunburns the most?
Yes. We don't see any problems with this being applied to children with sunburns.
15)Can it be put around the eyes without irritation? Around the mouth?
Around mouth -yes.Eye sensitivity differs from person to person.
